Guidelines for Family Members

"The woods are lovely dark and deep
But I have promises to keep..."

Some points to note

  • Analyse and decide what kind of care is really needed; there is no point in being overprotective and encroaching on your parent's private space
  • If there has been any gap of communication in the past, try to make up for it. You have to understand your loved one's preferences first.
  • Make sure that all your family members, especially your spouse and children, get involved and have a positive relationship with your parent.
